Explainer film · Training for vessel operators
Your ship has a grade before it berths
Four authorities, one crew: flag state, class, port state and EU law reach into the same operation. In under a minute and a half the film shows how that becomes a risk profile, and which part of it is in your hands.
Licensed per vessel · assigned by role · SCORM export to your onboard system · hosted in the EU
The narration, for reading
For everyone who prefers reading, and so the content lands without sound.
A container ship sails under one flag. Is surveyed by a class society. Calls at ports in several states. And reports under EU law.
By the time the inspector comes up the gangway, he already knows what to expect. Every ship carries a risk profile.
Ship type. Age. Flag. The recognised organisation. These move over years, not over quarters.
One parameter is the exception: your company performance. Built from the deficiencies and detentions of the last thirty-six months.
Stay low for three months and the Commission publishes your company. Your charterers read the same list as your competitors.
And it all arrives at once. Emissions trading, FuelEU, NIS2: alongside ISM, ISPS and maritime labour law, which never stopped.
Whoever was briefed in March sails on another ship in June. The record has to stay, even when the person leaves.
Seventeen courses in two packages. One is what you must do. The other is what someone checks.
Licensed per vessel, not per person. Assigned by role. And every course exports into your onboard system.
Your ship gets its grade either way. Which part of it you write yourself is up to you.
