5 Mar 2025 Liquidaciones Vizcaya, SL; Albujón Solar 81, SLShare price manipulation in a solar company's shares: EUR 3 million against two companies €3m
The CNMV (Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores, Spanish securities market regulator) found that the two companies had committed market manipulation when trading in shares of a listed Spanish photovoltaic company in the fourth quarter of 2022. On 5 March 2025 the CNMV Board imposed EUR 1,500,000 each on Liquidaciones Vizcaya SL and Albujón Solar 81 SL, EUR 3,000,000 in total. The decision is final as regards the two companies.
Market manipulation is punished with fines running into millions for the companies involved themselves as well.
